Reading books is a great way to improve your concentration. It makes you curious about different things in life. If you are a book reader, than you'll agree with the fact that the books are a best source of inspiration and motivation. Here's a list of a few books that you must read in your life.
1) Tiny habits(by B.J. Fogg)
By reading this book, I've learned that every habit (either it is GOOD or BAD) starts from "tiny"🤏. Let me give you an example:
You want to make a habit of doing exercise for 30 minutes each day. Will you directly start it from 30 mins?
No..
Because your body is not get used to it and you are suddenly giving a bigger burden of exercise to your body. Your bones will start aching (and maybe you'll be in hospital 🏥).
So, what is the right way to start? 🤔
💡 From TINY...
First day, you do it for 5 mins, then continue it for a few days (until your body will get used to it). Then you will increase it for 10 minutes. And keep going and you will reach your 30 mins goal.
So if you want to make a habit or even leave any addiction or bad habit than, don't rush into it.. start gradually,,,, start TINY.
2) Atomic Habits (by James Clear)
The best lines that I like in this book are:
"All big things come from small beginnings. The seed of every habit
is a single, tiny decision. But as that decision is repeated, a habit
sprouts and grows stronger. Roots entrench themselves and branches
grow. The task of breaking a bad habit is like uprooting a powerful oak
within us. And the task of building a good habit is like cultivating a
delicate flower one day at a time."
3) Top 5 regrets of the dying( by Brownie Ware)
Initially I thought that the top regrets of the dying people may be like:
🙁I wish I could earn more money,
🙁I wish I could travel more in my life,
🙁I wish I could get myself away from NEGATIVE people...
But by reading this book, i found that the regrets of most of the people were:
🟨"I wish I'd had lived my life true to myself(instead of pleasing others)".
🟧"I wish I hadn't worked very hard(so that I could give time to my nears and dears)".
🟩"I wish I'd had the courage to express my true feelings (instead of pretending to be what I am not in reality)".
🟦"I wish I'd stayed in touch with My friends".
🟪"I wish I'd let myself be happier".
4) The Alchemist(by Paulo Coelho)
It is one of the most well-known and best selling books in all over the world. The story of a shepherd who travels in pursuit of treasure. There are a lot of lessons in his story. One of the best lines from this book are:
